After a rough day at work, coming home to your loving boyfriend is already a gift enough. But Ike still wants to find a way to lift your spirits from the hectic day you’ve had.

It had been… a day. Finally, returning after a long exhausting day of work to your shared home with your boyfriend. And after glancing at the clock, you knew he would still be working in his office. A tired smile tugged at your lips. Even with the long hours of dealing with stubborn coworkers and demanding customers, it was nice to come home to the calming presence of your lover.

Stopping in the entry room, you tug off your work shoes, breathing out a fairly unenergetic ‘I’m home.’ Taking a deep breath before shrugging your coat off and hanging it on the rack nearby. As you move to place your keys on the counter, the sound of shuffling footsteps reaches your ears. You were turning your head in time to watch as your partner emerged from the hallway.

“Welcome back, sweetie.” Ike Eveland. The man’s words were as sweet as his voice is soft. His voice has a physical effect on you as the tension from your shoulders starts to dissipate. The novelist’s pace quickens upon noticing how exhausted you look. Once reaching your side, he places a gentle hand on your shoulder. “Oh jeez, you look like you’ve been through hell.”

Before you could stop yourself, you let out a dry laugh. Gesturing at your eyes and the apparent bags under them, you say, “What gave it away?” Ike huffed at you, hazel eyes narrowing at you. Quick to change the topic, you avoid his gaze. “I’ll be fine, Ike. How’s your novel coming along? I would love to read the new chapter.”

He eyes you for a second before updating you on any progress he made so far. He tells you about how he’s almost done with the current book. How he was proud of the sudden burst of inspiration that pushed him through a rough patch of a chapter he’d been stuck on. You smiled fondly as you listened to him speak; however, you could feel yourself slipping. Your body calling for much-needed rest.

“I’ll probably continue working on it a bit longer before bed, honestly, but I promise you I won’t be up too late. Honestly, I think you’ll need the cuddles I wanna give you right now.” He reached for one of your hands, clasping it gently while letting the other trace mindless patterns across the skin. A warmth grows in your chest at the gesture.

“Yes, please don’t strain yourself, babe. Both of us don’t need to be zombies.” Raising your free hand to rub your droopy eyes whilst squeezing the hand that was holding yours. “I think I’ll hit the hay early. I honestly feel like shit and if I stay up any longer, I know I’ll start overthinking today…”

Ike’s eyes filled with worry. “Sweet-”

“I’ll be fiiine, I promise. I don’t wanna inconvenience you, especially when you're so motivated.” You planted a soft kiss on his cheek. “Go work on your book. I’ll be in bed waiting when you're done.” You didn’t give him room to argue as you gave him a quick hug before trudging toward your shared room. You were more than ready to turn in and put this day behind you.

The concerned novelist wistfully looked down the hall after you. He very much wanted to call it a night so he could be with you and give you the love you need. Yet he also knew that if he did so, you’d feel guilty for ‘keeping him from his work’. Ike let out a heavy sigh and reluctantly headed back to his office. His book, however, was momentarily pushed to the back of his thoughts. Mind brewing with ideas on how to help you. His eyes lit up as it dawned on him. It’d have to be for tomorrow, but it excited him all the same. Smiling, and now filled with more determination, he got back to work.

The morning was going to be a special one.

When the next day rolls in, you wake up feeling marginally better. Grateful for a good night's rest. Letting out a yawn as your body slowly wakes up, soaking in the peace, before fully opening your eyes. Turning over, you had expected to be greeted by your boyfriend's sleeping face. Except his spot was empty.

‘He woke up earlier than me? That’s a surprise… ’ Slowly you rose, sitting up from your sleeping position. Stretching, and letting out a groan as your bones cracked, looking around as you did so for any hints as to where Ike had gone. His glasses were gone from his nightstand, however, everything else seemed to be right where it had been left the night before. Unable to deduce where Ike had disappeared to, you pushed the blankets away from your body with a groan. “I guess I’ll just have to get up then…” Patting down your messy hair, you turn and heave yourself up from the comfy bed. “Better get ready for work… let’s hope it’s not hell today.” With no other choice than to start preparing for the day, you swiftly fall into your morning routine.

Ike, on the other hand, was in the kitchen preparing you a simple breakfast. He might not be a ‘master chef’ like his friend Vox, however, he could still prepare you a delicious plate of eggs and toast. Brewing you a mug of your favorite tea to accompany it. ‘Everything is in place.’ He thought, having a content smile on his face. ‘Now, for one last thing…’

It doesn’t take long for you to get ready, having repeated this routine for so long. Letting out a long yawn, you made your way to the kitchen. Thinking about just making some toast and then heading off early. I mean, the faster you do something, the faster it’s over. Right?

As you enter the kitchen and freeze in your tracks. First, your eyes lock onto the plate on the table before shifting to Ike, who was sitting on the other side. The novelist gives you a closed-mouth smile, his eyes closed as he enjoys his caviar toast. As soon as he swallows, he speaks, “Hey sweetie, I made you breakfast. No need to rush. Let’s enjoy our morning.”

Slowly placing your bags down on the counter, then take a seat across from him. You’re a bit confused, but who are you to turn down a nice breakfast? Spotting the mug, you happily pick it up, making a pleased noise as you take a long sip. Turning your attention back up to Ike and giving him an appreciative smile. “You brewed my favorite tea, and you made me breakfast. Thank you. But what’s going on? Did I miss something?”

Ike’s smile doesn’t falter, but grows as he explains himself. “You didn’t miss anything, hun. I just wanted to make you something nice cause you had a bad day yesterday. Plus, I have something else for you as well…” He laughs at the confused squint you give him, causing you to lean over to poke him.

“What are you planning?”

“It’s not anything teasing, I swear. Here–” He motions for you to give you his arm– “roll up your sleeve.”

You blink owlishly, the confusion just growing, but you do as he says. Pushing up your suit jacket sleeve and relinquish your arm to him. Ike gently grasps your wrist and gently turns your arm so the inner side is up-facing, his free hand rummaging in his pocket for something. After a moment, he pulls out a marker and you tilt your head. “Are you gonna write on me? I don’t need ink poisoning, dear”

“Shhh, don’t worry, it’s non-toxic darling.” He then turns a bit in his seat, opening the marker and writing who-knows-what on your arm. With his attention fully on his task, you take the moment to take him in. The morning sun illuminates his face and focused smile as the maker glides over your arm. A few moments pass before he pulls the marker away, releasing his grip on you as he does so. As he re-caps the marker, you twist your arm so you can see what he’d done. Instantaneously, you feel your heart swell from what’s written there.

‘I love you, and I know you’ll do great today.’ It might have seemed small, but that simple phrase almost caused you to start crying on the spot.

Ike felt the slight tension leave his body as you took in his words, a radiant smile gracing your lips. Every day you worked so hard, and he sincerely appreciated all the effort you put into everything you do. In his eyes, you are such a strong person. It was something he’d respected about you even before the two of you had started dating. And to see you struggling both physically and mentally? It absolutely breaks his heart. So if he can help you build yourself back up, even just a little, he’ll feel highly accomplished. Not just as your boyfriend, but as your friend, too. His admiring of you was cut short when you rose suddenly. Confused, he called out to you, “Sweetie, is there somethi–oof!”

Cutting off his sentence, you embraced him in the tightest hug you could. It didn’t matter that you were standing, and he was sitting. The brunette, of course, hugged you back, one of his hands petting your back whilst the other rested on the back of your head. The pair of you embraced each other in silence, save for him moving you to a more comfortable position. With you perching yourself on one of his legs. Loosening your hold on him, wanting to look him in the eyes, you finally spoke up. “Thank you, Ike. That… really made my whole day. I promise that of I start feeling shitty at all today, I’ll look at my arm and know you’re waiting for me here.”

Ike reaches up to caress your face, love evident in his hazel eyes as he looks at you. “I’m very happy to hear that, darling.”

“I think I should get a little payback though…” Snatching the marker up off the table and mimicking what the novelist had done to you, making him chuckle. Ike humored you; allowing you to write on him in retaliation. And once you were all done, you pushed his arm towards himself, a proud look on your face.

Glancing down at his arm, adjusting his glasses as he read the words you put on him. “You make me happy every day, my smart cookie.”

You giggle as you watch him grow a bit flustered, and when he looks back at you, your mouth can’t help but curl into a goofy smile. His flushed expression quickly shifts to a content smile as he watches you. Returning his hand to your back, he rubs it soothingly. He leans forward, planting a peck on your lips. “Thank you, sweetie. Now you should eat. You’re gonna be late for work.”

Your momentary bliss is gone once you remember that you still have to go to work. Removing yourself from his space, you quickly sit back in your own chair, the marker you had picked up landing harshly on the table. Paying it no mind as you quickly settled into your breakfast. Ike just chuckles. Even when you're in a rush, he still finds you incredibly adorable.

After finishing your food, you chug down your tea, much to your dismay. Giving Ike another kiss before you leave for work. “I shouldn’t be home as late as yesterday. Good luck with your book, hun!” You speak as you walk briskly towards the door, fixing yourself one last time, before waving goodbye to him.

You were immensely grateful to have such a caring person as Ike to watch after you. On the way to work, you couldn’t help but think how lucky you were to have someone like him to love you. And Ike mirrored that thought. Smile still on his face as he cleaned up before making his way to his office. In your separation, you both look at your arms again and think…

‘Today’s gonna be a good day…’

AS FOR THE DISCORD SERVERS I’M IN👀

Well they are mostly filled with Hazbin-Helluva creators of different kinds. I adore them a lot and have made most of my friends through said servers. We get up to all sorts of dumb shit🤣 One important thing to note regarding them all, however, is that they are all strictly 18+. Most of them are also Radioapple focused but that’s just because of my own brainrot.

With a show that in and of itself is 18+, I find it very comforting to be in a space where it’s guaranteed that the people you interact with are all adults. (Dubiously as I may apply the title to myself lol) This also means they are all invite-only, but if you get pointed in the direction of a mod and can prove you’re 18+ you rarely get turned away.

All of the servers also have a strict ban on spoilers when it comes to non-official releases/leaks. I have been keeping away from the HH leaks as well and thus far I have yet to see even a glimpse of them in any of the servers I’m in. The mod teams are truly amazing, and so are the other creators.

Hi! Sorry if this is too intrusive of me and don't feel the need to answer if you aren't comfortable/don't want to, but I was scrolling through the Royai tag and came across the big bang tumblr. I saw in one of their earlier posts that you were involved as a Beta reader on the project! That's so exciting! How did you find it? And what do you like most about being a beta reader as a whole?

I'm looking to maybe get involved in beta reading myself however I'm a little shy about it!! Do you have any tips for someone starting out and looking to get involved?

hi!!! oh my gosh this is so sweet i haven’t even posted my big bang question prompts yet!! not too invasive at all i love talking about the bb and also about beta’ing. so truthfully, the reason i’ve been slow to post my questions is because both of the writers i was signed onto beta for were unable to finish / dropped out, and so most of the work i did won’t be in the final version. however, shortly after, i did sign up to help out as a mod for the event, so that’s mostly how i’ve been contributing in the last few months of the project!

i found the big bang because the original creator and many of the mods also work on the fma secret santa exchange, which i participated in last year!

i think the thing i like most about beta reading is that it feels a lot like what i imagine the later stages of sculpting feels like: you can see a beautiful creation just about to emerge, and you’re helping it come to life. and like, the collaboration aspect! i love working with other people, and i’m used to doing it from the writing side (i keep my beta @summerwoodsmoke very busy lol) so it’s always nice when they or someone else is willing to let me look at their work too!

i would say my biggest advice is to ask! if you have a friend you know is writing something, you can always just say something like “hey, if you ever need a beta reader (for that) let me know!” and yeah, they could say no this time, but they’ll know they have you as an option and will probably circle back to you on another project. if you don’t know anyone who’s a writer, joining events like this are a great way to get started!

mostly though, just meeting and talking to other writers is the best way to do it. best of luck to you, let me know how it goes!

hi! i saw that you wrote a novel (that might be getting published?) and i'm really curious to know what pushed you to start, how was the progress, and do you have an editor + are you self-publishing or are you with a publishing company! writing a novel is a dream of mine but it feel so far-fetched. it's inspiring to see that you've written one, and i would like to know how i might do the same too, if you don't mind sharing! -- @milkstore

hello fellow author <3 im so excited to hear about your dream! there are countless stories out there, but no one can write yours :)

as for what made me start - it was you all. the constant support, love and encouragement, and providing me inspiration and opportunities to practice with characters I love in a world that's fantastical.

my main character was inspired by a genshin OC that I had (Fai) and blossomed into who she is now!

my process was pretty simple really. I started with a general plot. identified what I wanted to happen in the story and the beats (points) i wanted to hit along the way, then I flushed out the two main characters and started writing their story.

after getting draft 0 i realized the plot (especially in the middle) wasn't working. in fact, it suuuucked. so I did some edits, a lot of cutting and rewriting and then I got a beta reader - they liked it, but I didn't - enter my work on draft 3. Now my story has substance, it has way more engagement and a lot better characters.

My next steps will be to read it out loud for another round of edits and - as I go - really ensure my character motivations are in there, the plot (where the whole story ends up) has build-up, and that I'm not going to set myself up for continuity errors. Once that is done I have two options

I can send it off to an editor I found and like, have them look it over and give me feedback - make changes - and then start querying for agents

I found a potential publisher that works with indie authors GreenLeaf Book Group. They might help me with editing, story, and other things if they like what i have - so i can skip some of the steps myself! - They seem very promising and actually may be a good place to start right out of the gate, but I've always been told to never give a publisher nothing (well, unless you're already working with them lol)

From here, the end goal is traditional publishing but i have a few barriers to that. 1. my book is too long, 2. it may not be as engaging as they may like, 2. it's a duology (publishers don't often pick up debut authors that pitch more than one book to them (i.e. they want a standalone before investing their time and money into the book)

The Decision

Prompt: “Fleabag”, 2019, TV Series Author: Anonymous Word Count: 5,369 words Rating: Mature Warnings: transphobic slur but don't worry she gets revenge, miscarriage, general horrible person

Notes: Anything in bold italics is when Draco/Fleabag would be looking at the camera on film. This was such a delight to write! It was also challenging because I love the original material SO MUCH. But eventually Draco took on the proper voice. I wrote Draco as a transwoman in this fic specifically because Fleabag is so much about feminine rage, and it wasn’t working to translate that into a gay cis male relationship. I’m also queer and nonbinary myself, and any transphobic comments will be deleted. I love this Draco so much, and I hope you do too. This was intended to be a chaptered fic, and it still might be! I ended up having some very intense struggles in my personal life come up during the writing of this fic and it had to take a back seat. Thankfully the mods for the fest were really understanding and gave me soooooo many extensions. If I do end up making this a chaptered fic, this will be the "first in a series" so if you subscribe to the series, you'll get notified if I continue it. A quick word: I don't hate Ron, in spite of how I show him in this fic! He definitely becomes the "villain" of the fic. Also warning to any trans folks reading, Ron uses the T-slur at one point. Summary: Love is awful. Draco Malfoy is dreading helping Pansy Parkinson plan her wedding. That's something horrible people dread, and perhaps that makes her a horrible person. She's determined to behave, until old connections and an increasingly surreal and intolerable dinner party get the better of her.

Hi amukmuk, I'm very excited for the Chiss Ascendancy zine and would be willing to help mod, but I haven't worked in a zine before - what's the expected time commitment and actual tasks of the mods? I do have a busy schedule and wouldn't want to be forced to back out on you if I can't meet that commitment!

Heyo!

Full disclosure, I also have a crazy busy schedule so I plan to have long timeframes just so nobody feels like they have to crank something out in a week.

I've also separated out tasks below. Hopefully we'll have enough mods to do something like this!!

1. Social Media

In charge of posting informational and promotional material(s) to the zine's social media accounts, responding to asks/messages as well as keeping all pages up to date.

Should have experience and knowledge in posting on Tumblr/Instagram/Twitter as well as the common practice of tagging and etiquettes in Star Wars fandom spaces.

2. Shipping

Will survey the costs and suitability of plans for physical items and receive samples and final products from the manufacturers, repack for our buyers and then ship the packages.

Must have current residence in the USA.

Experience in shipping domestic and international packages from the USA is a huge asset.

Must have a printer.

You will work closely with Finance Mod.

3. Finance

Will receive and keep money from preorders and overstock sales in a bank account until it is donated.

Will purchase all products and pay all site and transaction fees out of the money received (you will not be spending your own money up front) and will track all income and expenses and keep digital receipts accessible.

Must have a debit card, a credit card, a PayPal business account (or a PayPal that you are willing to upgrade to a business account), a valid billing address and a social security number from the country of your residence.

You will work closely with shipping mod.

4. Layout

Will design the layout for the zine, how many pages, size of pieces, word count etc.

Will be communicating with the other mods and contributors to reconfirm the suitability of pieces, do readjustments where necessary etc.

Will also work with Graphics Mod where necessary.

5. Writing

Will moderate writer applications and the progress of written pieces for the zine.

Must be open to checking out contributors' progress and help them stay on schedule.

Might also become a default second copy editor.

Will also work with Copy Editor where necessary.

6. Copy Editing

Will help writers with their written pieces and become their beta readers once their work is ready -- especially for the writers who do not have beta readers.

Must have experience in writing and editing fiction -- must have a strong grasp of spelling, grammar, pacing techniques etc.

Will work with Writing Mod where necessary.

7. Art

Will moderate art pieces from applications and the progress of art pieces for the zine.

Must be open to checking out contributors' progress and help them stay on schedule.

Must be polite when giving out suggestions/criticism (only when sought by the artist) -- help the artist focus on their strengths etc.

8. Discord Server

Will be moderating and supervising the zine server, answering questions from contributors, enforcing rules and regulations, mediating conflict between server members, bring up questions or attention on certain issues to mods where necessary.

Must remain rational, objective and professional while communicating with contributors or while mediating conflicts -- regardless of differences in views/opinions.

Experience in moderating servers is a huge asset.

Finish What You Started 2024 - Event Rules

The goal of this event is to get things done that you’ve already started. We all have unfinished projects whose incomplete status haunts us. Those are what we want to tackle!

The structure is loose, as this is a multimedia event. While primarily aimed at writers, this event is open to any kind of creative fanwork. Fics, translations, podfics, fanart, animations, cosplay - if you started it and never got it done, it qualifies. There is no sign-up required. I will not assign beta readers for writers, but I can boost requests for those who want them! And I can boost messages of those who would like to beta read.

The mod is a danmei fan mainly, but your work can be any fandom. Maybe something you started before your current fandom excitement took over, or one you keep putting off in favor of compelling new ideas.

Feel free to pass this event info along! The more the merrier!

Further rules and clarifications:

Alt text is very encouraged, especially for boost posts or artwork!

If your work is NSFW, I will only boost it if it has appropriate content warnings. Spoilering images is recommended but not required as long as it’s tagged. Do not letter-swap or abbreviate content warnings. These are so people can mute them as needed. Example: "gore" not "g0re"

Remember Tumblr can mute phrases, but each warning should be its own tag as well as in the body.

Please use genderbend or genderswap for characters depicted not as canon genders. Example: "#NSFW #genderbend #gore”

Please use Omegaverse or A/O/B for that content. The original letter order is a slur against Aboriginal peoples and will not be tolerated here, even with the slashes. It, like other racial or identity-based slurs, fall under hate speech and are thus not permitted.

This account will post weekly morale-boosting messages and helpful resources. Every Friday, starting March 15th, will be Finished It Friday. All the completed works posted that week will be boosted together in a big thread, so we can celebrate your accomplishment!

FAQ:

Q: Are original works acceptable?

A: This is primarily a fanwork-focused event. If original work is the only WIP you have to work on, it's certainly fine to work on it during the time frame of the event. If it is posted publicly when finished, you may tag it for boosting.

Q: Are there any restrictions on topics?

A: No, so long as your event # post is properly & fully tagged for content (see rules about tagging above). "Dead Dove" topics are allowed. Some submissions will be 18+. For me, this is less about the content and more about finishing it.

The usual restrictions based on laws and Community Guidelines of course apply, so you may need to tailor how you post to which event space your interacting with. Twitter, Tumblr, and Discord all have their own rules. There are also some topics that are in poor taste to make fanworks around. The event organizer and mods reserve the right to not boost your work if they decide it is rage-baiting or trolling. They are not responsible for negative reactions to your works. Please be respectful of those you share a digital space with.

Keep in mind that when I link to your finished work during a Finished It Friday, it may reach a wider audience than you may be used to.

Q: Are there any restrictions on media that can be submitted?

"I was in an online creative writing group for a while" - I was in an LJ fic/fandom community (helped by the fact I was also in a legit creative writing group for a short while).

"I write short stories sometimes, but, they're sort of context dependent so I can't publush them" - I write fic.

"I did volunteer work for a website once, kept things in order" I was an admin/mod of an LJ community/forum for a very short time. (Helped by the fact that I have done volunteer admin work, so nobody would know the difference)

"I used to help other people edit their stories. Sometimes it was just grammar and spelling, sometimes it was making sure it was realistic for the setting, one time I had to do some research into medication so the author had the right information" - I was a beta reader and one time I got into an argument with an American over the use of MD, diluadid and aceteminophen in a british setting.

"I once read a short story... learnt latin" - I once read a Lewis fic that was littered with latin phrases and now I know.... (I have since forgotten them)

When it came down to it though, he put in needed amount of effort. So your matching was definitely a success.

He was excited about it, but he was calm and collected as he agreed to it. At the same time though- he was very nervous.

He was sure that no matter what you go for he'd sweat a lot through it. So he didn't have too much preference... Just make sure he won't get overheated or anything.

But even though he didn't have the smallest clue on how you should dress... He still kinda wanted to take the lead. So to make up for being indecisive he really took the preparations seriously.

He'd ask you if you bought everything you needed or if you even started working on it.

Gamzee Makara

He thinks it's cute so there's no problem going with it!

Just know that with him almost everything will be last minute.

Preparation the costumes themselves, ideas, even putting them on before you head out.

He's fine with any types of costume as long as you like it. He doesn't really think much about it so he just wants to see you happy.

Eridan Ampora

He already assumed you were going to match so he was surprised by you asking if he wants to match rather than making propositions as to what should you do.

He was very indecisive and often threw in some ideas while also giving yours some thought.

He wanted it all to be fancy and proper. Definitely wouldn't go for something that would not stand out.

As to preparations while he can handle most on his own, he thought it might be nice bonding experience if you were to help him...

I am stoked to wish @thebooktopus a very happy birthday with a nameplate and a rec list! Maddy deserves all the love in the world for being such an amazing person who lifts others up. It must have been late last year/early this year when I started seeing her pop in regularly via various Discord servers (and she also mods a few too!). When @anaxandria-writes recced a Maddy fic and invited her to the Wizarding Creators Den (where we were getting hyped about said fic being complete), I was super excited! Once Maddy and I got to know each other and realised we both loved Drarry AND so many rare pairs, the rest was history. Let’s be honest: Maddy is a true sport when it comes to cheerleading and supporting so many people. She’s sweet, passionate and easy-going as an alpha and a beta. Right off the bat, you can tell Maddy loves stories and ideas, and she wants to help fellow creators out. She’s engaged, and since she’s an avid reader of many things, that offers a wonder opportunity for new, beautiful friendships to form. If you want someone to scream about your work (WIP or finished), Maddy is your person! Her insights on everything are also optimistic and heartfelt. It’s all in the comments she leaves for people. She’s thoughtful in what she says, and you can feel the appreciation and enthusiasm she has for each work she reads/views. I'm sure folks who have gotten comments and tags from her know what I’m talking about. Her words truly mean a lot. Can we talk about Maddy’s gorgeous recs? YES, because there are sooo many good ones! These always brighten up my day when I see them on my dashboard. Her recs have been one way I’ve been able to find, read and add fics to my TBR list. I also think Maddy has a special superpower to read and absorb all the things, because the time and effort it takes to keep up and make monthly recs is impressive and labour-intensive. She’s currently killing it with Game of Drarry fic recs right now, and you can see ALL of her recs here. ALSO, her Mutuals March project. OMG. Maddy was a gem to go through so many creators’ works to shine a spotlight on each one of them. This must have been a beast of a project to take on, yet what a delight was it to see so many works I haven’t seen before! I thought it was a brilliant project when I first heard about, and little did I know that Maddy would surprise me by going through my works, showering them with comments AND giving me my own post. I have never had anyone do that for me before, and this just shows how kind Maddy is to make people feel like their work matters to fandom. Since then, Maddy has become one of my regular supporters, and I’m grateful and lucky to call her a friend. While I’ve been challenging myself to make and approach new projects in different ways (whether it be ships, mediums, formats, or even writing more one-shots and writing a bunch of microfics), Maddy’s encouragement has always been so uplifting. She has made me realise I am better than I give myself credit for, that my work is unique, and that I should run with that. So, that’s what I’m doing! If Maddy doesn’t have a full plate already, she made HP Next Gen Fest happen this year (which just finished posting) to spread the love for alll the next gen ships. Andddd of course, she’s a writer who has written some excellent Drarry fics and rare pair stories! Maddy has a way of embracing humour, flirting, fluff and sass all in on go, which makes character dynamics fun yet sexy! Remember that Maddy fic rec I mentioned above? THIS IS IT. I did not know I needed this fic until I read it, and gods, I love Herbtamer more now. There’s a wonderful acknowledgement to demisexuality, an excellent use of consent, and the energy between Neville and Charlie’s friendship is so warm. Also, these two mesh so well together that they fit like pieces of a puzzle, as they should. 🐙 >>> Let Me Count the Ways (Drarry, E, 3.6k)

Summary: Intimacy comes in many forms. Draco wants to explore them all with Harry.

OKAY. This is such a beautiful and well-written fic for sooo many reasons. What an amazing take on asexuality, and I adore how Draco wants to make everything so good for Harry. They’re both so soft, and full of sooo mannnyy feelings. All of their actions and words are enough to prove that they absolutely love each other. Seeing all the ways their relationship changes over time will make you melt into a puddle. If you want some sexy fluff, go read this!| 🦑 >>> Are Those Drugs in Your System, or Are You Just Happy to See Me? (Drarry, T, 1.3k)

Summary: While Harry is out on patrol on New Year's Eve, he stumbles (literally) into Draco. When their eyes meet, Harry is immediately concerned - why are Draco's pupils so wide? Is he high? Nope. Turns out he's just in love.

What a sweet and fun read! If you want some classic Drarry banter, you’ve got it in here. Also, Draco is absolutely precious, blunt and sassy, just the way we like him. Such a wonderful take on a NYE fic. 🐙 >>> Life After Quidditch (Flintwood, E, 11k)

Summary: After a career-ending injury, Oliver Wood is forced to take an early retirement. And what does early retirement look like for famous Quidditch players? The charity circuit. Galas, bake sales, auctions—you name it, Oliver’s agent had signed him up for it. Oliver didn’t know what to expect from this new life, but it certainly wasn’t Marcus Flint popping up at every turn. Or for him to be friendly and welcoming, unwilling to let Oliver stew in his self-loathing. Or for him to look so good in yoga pants. Or to fall for the git.

The way Maddy writes Flintwood is outstanding, and this fic does not disappoint. She has such a way of bringing in teasing, humour and all the UST together when it comes to Oliver and Marcus. Their banter is spot on, and I also love how these two have changed as people since school. Of course, Oliver tries to figure out how the world still exists when Marcus isn’t antagonising him (aka Marcus has other ways to push Oliver’s buttons that doesn’t involve fist fights). And the charity events? Hilarious. 10000% worth the read to see how these two get together, and for all the clever lines and flirting. You can find more of Maddy’s work on AO3. Streamer!Scaramouche [2]

thanks for all the support in the first part! i wrote a second part where scaramouche plays genshin + the reader comes in (i tried to make it as gender neutral as possible, so let me know if there’s something off!). you’re a close friend of scaramouche and also a voice actor!

i had been planning this since i wrote the first part, but because i was busy and uninspired i couldn’t finish it. but here it is and it’s actually pretty long (over 5k words...)! i hope you guys will like this!! obviously he’s a little nicer than he is in game but,,, for the sake of the plot + it being a modern au, it had to be done sjnfdskjf

He was selected to play the beta for genshin because of his popularity and tbh he really wanted to play it

The game hadn’t really caught his eye all that much when he first heard about it but he saw how everyone online went crazy over it (plus other streamers who also were selected to play it in early access kept talking about it) and he became more curious to know what it would be like and if it’d live to everyone’s expectations

However he couldn’t really play it until it was officially released because he had a very busy schedule, and when he saw other streams of people playing it he was,,, lowkey jealous because it did look fun

When it was finally released and the game finished downloading and installing, he went live right away

And since so many people were looking forward to seeing him play plus the game was getting so popular so fast, that stream of when he first played hit his biggest milestone of live viewers ever

ANYWAYS skip forward to further into the game

when it comes to the gacha,,,

we’ve established that this boy is loaded. he won’t hesitate to throw some big amounts of money at the game to get every single character and weapon he wants and get their constellations to the max

i feel like he’d make little bets (and it works as a way to thank the chat for the support) like “if i get (insert newest character) in the first 50 pulls, i will gift 50 subs”

he’d be SOOOOOOO LUCKY it’d make everyone who doesn’t play think that it must be very easy to get the 5 stars or that the drop rate must be very high,,,

so in the end he’d have to gift the subs and it’d be funny to see the chat go absolutely crazy because everyone is commenting at the same time trying to see if they got lucky too and got the sub

but the chat goes so fast that they can’t even see their own comment after they send it sNDJGDJSK

he’d end up turning subs mode on for a while because it goes crazy

and that’s when he’d see people going “I GOT THE SUB-” all excited and he can’t help but chuckle and congratulate them for being one of the lucky ones

probably another game he can use to play with some subs once in a while! they could play co-op and when he’s a very high level he’d go to the worlds of some of his subs with lower level to help them with whatever they need

you’d be a voice actor, and also you have been a friend of his for a very long time

he met you even before he started streaming and you were always so supportive of him, as he was of every and each of your dreams

in fact, he would have invited you over more than once to stream with him

people don’t say anything bc they’re afraid of scaramouche banning them (it’s happened before) + they understand it can be disrespectful... but…

some people lowkey ship you two a little bit,,,,,, you didn’t hear it from me. scaramouche don’t ban me----

so one day he’s making another livestream playing genshin (sponsored by mihoyo to promote the newest update and event) and they’re going to release a new character

AND he has told everyone that you are the voice actor of the new character, who will be introduced in the event and is also getting their own banner

so everyone is very curious of what they’ll be like, if scaramouche will try to get them (obviously he will, he has every single character…. the amount of money he has put into the game…. just thinking of it gives me the heebie-jeebies)

could he even,,, main them,,,,

spoiler: he won’t because he’ll stay honest till the end (and no hard feelings) but there are other characters that he has built up to the max just like them and still work better with the way he plays but he’ll still find a chance to use them often

he didn’t know anything of what the character you voiced would be like because you wanted to keep it a surprise and he knew his audience would enjoy seeing his first reactions

I think the character you voice in the game would have the role that Scaramouche has in the actual game, and their design would be fairly similar (maybe similar color palette) to the design fans made for him as a genshin character (the one i mentioned that he uses for popup notifs of subscriptions and all!)

needless to say he’d absolutely love their personality and the charisma you showed in their lines

of course when he finally gets them he shows everything about them including all their voice lines and he compliments y/n’s voice acting… that was the first time people suspected that....

mayhaps… scaramouche….

has feelings for you....

it’s in the soft gaze in his eyes,,, the gentle smile on his lips,,, his soft voice when saying “I think this one is my favorite line of theirs”

and just how BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL his laugh sounds when someone comments he should invite you and ask you to do that voiceline live for him and everyone else

he’d jokingly reach for his phone and be like “should i call them? i could”

(but he wouldn’t because he doesn’t want to disturb you, you may be busy, considering you still hadn’t replied to the messages he sent to you before he started the stream a few hours ago)

if anyone dares be mean to you saying you got the chance to voice act for genshin just bc of scaramouche

or implies that he did something to get you there he’ll get quite mad even tho he won’t speak up about it (he might if enough people say it)

people can see something shift in his gaze,,,, and he bans them permanently right away

it’d be kinda funny when he does those “reading unban requests” streams and he goes past immediately rejecting people who said those kind of stuff, not even reading the apologies JSNKJFNDSJKGNSDK

some people say he’s too strict about it but literally his stream his rules. people who don’t like him should just not watch him

and people who like him should NOT speak badly about you or doubt your talent and effort, which is what brought you that opportunity in the first place

one day he’d be streaming playing the game, he had been using your character and gathering materials to get their last ascension

and at one point he’d grab his phone and look at the screen for a second before putting it back down and saying he had planned something else for tonight besides playing genshin for a while

then, the doorbell would ring (before he could even close the game-) and it’d be heard from his setup room so people in the chat heard it and they’re all like???

it’s definitely not takeout because scaramouche never orders takeout when he’s on his own, he usually cooks for himself and just orders it when he’s with friends and they all feel like eating something different

actually, offtopic, but i have a feeling he’d be very responsible when it comes to food and like he’d cook himself proper meals all perfectly balanced and all- he could afford having someone cook for him but his house = his privacy and personal space so he’d rather do it himself

it’s like, past 10pm, so no way it would be a package or mail at that time

and then he says “we have a visitor tonight”

and then the chat goes crazy saying “CHILDE” “HARBINGERS” but mostly “Y/N!??!?/PLEASE LET IT BE Y/N”

AND IT WAS YOU!!!!

and omg you brought takeout--------

it had been a while since they had seen you in scaramouche’s stream and you didn’t have your own channel (even though there were many people who encouraged you to open one)

SO everyone was very excited

i feel like scaramouche wouldn’t be the biggest fan of eating on camera so you guys would put the food away so that you can eat it later on your own without an audience

and you two would just spend a while talking to the chat, watching videos

AND reviewing fanart and fanmade content together!! it’d be so cute especially fanarts of the two of you together, little animatics or comics of funny clips or memes from his streams of you two,,,

someone made a little felt plushie of the genshin character you voiced and the way you COOED because it was SO cute

only those who were truly paying attention were able to notice the soft smile on scaramouche’s lips and the way he looked at you as you gushed over how cute the little plushie is and how talented the person who made it is!!

also you’d tell him you saw signora make a stream where she talked to some of her fans on discord individually to give them advice on their life/problems (nothing too serious) and it was very funny and you wanted to do that with him someday

and he’s like “that… could be a huge mess. people could say some crazy stuff” and you’re like “NO but i talked to her about it and she said she got her mods to talk to them first and approve them before they moved them up to the channel where she was to talk to her”

and he’s like “still…….. what if people lie and then when they get to talk to us they say something-”

and you’re like “BOY!!!! DO YOU NOT TRUST YOUR FANS *GASP*” and everyone in the chat is also going “GASP” “HE DOESN’T TRUST US…” “IS THIS YOUR IDOL…..?” “SAY SORRY” (all good fun, obviously he’d love to talk to everyone if he could make sure there won’t be anything disrespectful said)

SO!!!!! you two say you’ll plan to do something like that soon and everyone is very excited, they can already tell it’ll be both super cute and hilarious

before he ends the stream, you two watch some videos together

some are about some upcoming videogames and he talks about them and what he knows and explaining things to you... he is.. so knowledgeable…

the way you look at him as he goes into a little rant about it… cinematic parallels with the way he looked at you before

ONCE AGAIN, people aren’t blind. they notice. but they keep it to themselves bc scary scara (the way i had to resist overusing this one joke with his name-)

so the stream ends and you two walk out of the setup room to go to his living room and eat the takeout you brought while watching something on tv

he apologises because the food is cold now, but you brush it off saying it’s ok, you had missed being on his streams and you two can just heat up the food again

he doesn’t look at you in the eyes as he mutters that you know you can join his streams whenever, and instead just says it as he makes his way to the kitchen to heat the food

you join him in the kitchen soon after and tell him you also bought something for dessert and put it in the fridge already before

and honestly he didn’t know how much he wanted to eat that dessert until it was in his fridge, so he can’t stop himself from sighing and saying “god, i love you”

there’s silence for a second, right as the microwave beeps as it finished heating the food

it feels eternal to him, but you immediately started laughing and said jokingly “of course you do! you’re welcome!”

he’s happy you took it as a joke because that’s not how he planned to confess (he didn’t plan to confess anytime soon in the first place) but at the same time ?? he’s lowkey offended inside because? you took it as a joke?? is it so unrealistic that you wouldn’t even think that he meant it romantically?

it’s at that moment that he realises that if he didn’t want to confess before, now he does.

he wouldn’t want anyone to know about how he let that slip because he’s sure no one in you two’s friend group even knows he likes you

but you,,, actually,,,,, were actually caught off guard too because scaramouche wasn’t precisely one for words of affection and he showed his care for everyone with his actions

in fact, you had never heard him say those words before but well- it was kinda nice- if only he meant it as you feel it- but he couldn’t, right? who’d confess their feelings so casually while looking at a dessert in the fridge with desire-------

that night, it gets pretty late and to be honest he’s a little too tired to drive you home as he usually would, so he asks if you’d like to sleep over

it wouldn’t be your first time doing so, not even the first time you stayed unplanned, and he had a couple guest rooms that you could use so you accepted

also, staying for longer meant you could keep watching some more of that series with him without worrying about it getting late

or,,,

“actually” you said in a low voice, almost a whisper, since it was getting late and you two had been in complete silence while watching the series “i lowkey still wanted to stream some more”

he scoffs but then lets out a short chuckle, replying in the same volume

“it’s past 2am, who’s going to watch me stream now?”

“i would” have mercy for his poor heart- “but i’d be the streamer too this time so it doesn’t count”

“what even would we do”

“can we play that co-op game you played with childe? it was so much fun”

had you not brought it up, he wouldn’t have offered that ever because? if he had recently played it with childe he didn’t want to stream it again and make it feel repetitive for his audience

(jokes on him because when genshin came out they put up with it being the only thing he streamed for over a week. they’d rewatch any game if it’s you two playing it)

but to be honest, he didn’t really want to stream anymore that day and just wanted to be with you, just you and no one else

he got up from the couch and walked towards the hallway, making you look up to him in confusion for a second, but then started getting excited knowing this meant he was going to let you play it with him

“i don’t really feel like streaming anymore today, but we can still play it. let’s go”

the next day, you two wake up around the same time and make breakfast together

scaramouche i feel is not very talkative in the mornings

in fact, i feel like he’s just not the most talkative in general. he’s more the type to listen, but it’s different during his streams because he’s doing what he loves and talking about what he loves

and when it comes to you and he talks more it’s because he’s talking to who he loves----

before you’re going to leave and you’re standing at the door about to say goodbye to him, he suddenly speaks up before you can

“do you want to go somewhere tomorrow?”

you raise your eyebrows in curiosity from the sudden request, but then smile at him and nod

“yeah sure! what do you have in min-”

“it’s a date” he said, interrupting you, which was weird enough of him (since he would never interrupt you), but his words were even weirder-

“h-huh?” you felt the heat rising to your cheeks, and scaramouche just repeated his words

on the outside, he looked so casual and just, confident- bUT INSIDE he was actually panicking a little bit

but just a little bit.

After a moment, you smiled at him again, this time somewhat more shily but also excited for your date!

“I look forward to it”

Just with that, you two knew you had made the first step

You weren’t just friends anymore

You two had hung out on your own many times before, in fact and as it was mentioned before, you two had even slept over at his house or yours many times before

but it had all always been purely platonic, and you guys had never even questioned that aspect of it even after realising you had romantic feelings for each other

he’d spend the rest of the day thinking of what you could do the next day, as if he hadn’t been brainstorming for ideas all night either

i feel like he hasn’t gone in many (if not any--) dates before

solely because he has never been interested in romance plus he had never liked someone or at least, not as much as he liked you

and even when he found out he felt something for you, he just always told himself he was okay with how things were, because he’d never experienced anything beyond friendship and didn’t feel the need to try and maybe ruin the friendship

SO he didn’t have many ideas of what a good date could be

he definitely didn’t want a cliché corny date, but he really didn’t have any idea of what was good enough for a date

(and if for future dates you want something he’d consider a “”cliché corny date”” he’d do it for you and actually enjoy it)

the last thing he wanted was to have to ask you what you could do for your date

1- because he didn’t want to show you any side of him that didn’t look like he always has everything under control and he’s always composed (as if you wouldn’t want to see every side of him, even his most vulnerable sides- you’d have to work on that with him when you two become official)

2- he… kind of wanted to surprise you…..

but it really got to the point where he really didn’t know what you’d like the most (or what he’d like the most too) and what he wanted most over anything else is to not disappoint you in you two’s first date

SO he finally texted you asking if there was anything special you wanted to do (and therefore indirectly admitting he……….. just really wanted to ask you out. so much he did it without thinking of what he’d do if you said yes--)

you didn’t seem to mind, and in fact you were happy he asked for your opinion

overall, scaramouche was very independent so he wasn’t one to ask others for advice, opinions or anything, much less for help regarding anything

“how long has it been since we last went to the arcade? we could go there! i heard from childe that they added new games!”

and he’s like !?!?!?? THAT…. is…….. the perfect idea

“that actually sounds perfect” he admitted, and the message brought a big smile to your face

“just don’t get mad at me when you lose at all of them” he sent right after, teasing you, and you couldn’t help but let out a laugh out loud

“the last time i won in your favorite game” you reminded him, and even after he read your message, he took a little bit to reply

(he needed a second to put the pieces of his pride together SJNFKJDS)

“don’t get used to it, it won’t happen again”

“we will see about that” the more you two joked like this, the more excited you got thinking about tomorrow

scaramouche was sure now that it’d be a great first date that you’d both remember forever

the next day, it was almost the time for the date and scaramouche was going to pick you up at your house

i feel like scaramouche would be very fashionable and even in his style he doesn’t try to hide that he’s loaded…

not that he cares about buying cheap clothes, literally he’d say if he likes it and it’s good (aka it’s not cheap because it’s made of something that won’t make it last longer than 3 weeks) he’ll get it

but it just so happens that many times… the clothes he likes most are from famous brands…

AND THIS DAY!!!!!! he’s putting together one of his favorite outfits because it’s a special day

it almost hurts me just how nonchalant he’d look on the outside, making it a little hard to know exactly just how much this date meant to him (because as i said he’s not one to be very vocal about his feelings or even his thoughts)

BUT i trust that you… since you know him well…. can see past all that and you know that this is not just anything casual to him. this is special.

STILL!!!! he’d try his best to not let the blush rise to his cheeks and show, as well as to not let his voice shake when he complimented that you looked very good

ANYWAYS i think i think Scaramouche wouldn’t be one for big pda

the most he’d do where anyone can see is hold your hand or put his arm around your waist

WHICH IS WHY he’d try to be all smooth (and he would manage) reaching for your hand and lacing his fingers with yours

he wouldn’t make eye contact because then he’s sure it’ll show on his face that he’s getting somewhat flustered, but he’d still ask if you’re okay with it, to which you said yes

the area where the arcade was is always somewhat crowded so when you two were getting there, scaramouche would tighten the grip on your hand a little bit to make sure you wouldn’t let go and you’d be pulled apart by people trying to walk past however they can

you know that if you two got serious about your relationship, he would want to be the first person to share the news with his fans

BUT since he was so popular now, you two lived in a pretty big city and now were at a popular area (+ scaramouche wouldn’t be the type to try and hide his identity because he’s never had people make a fuss when they recognise him)

you were a little worried someone would see you two and maybe take a picture and post it online and it’d go viral before he can admit it himself

because of that, you end up throwing back to him the question he had asked when he held your hand

“are you sure this is okay?”

your question confused him because he didn’t know what you mean, so he finally looked you in the eyes and waited for you to explain further

“it’s just- what if somebody sees us and recognises you?”

he looked away from you and back at where he was going, taking a few seconds to answer before he just shrugged

“i don’t care”

you softly let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding as you waited for him to say something, and almost missed the way he whispered

“as long as it doesn’t affect you”

for someone who seemed and actually tried to seem to self-sufficient, who appreciated his friends but was also okay on his own because he was absolutely comfortable with himself, he was actually…

more selfless than people would ever know, especially when it came to you

you two would have SO much fun in the arcade, trying every single game many times

this time though, scaramouche won in his favorite game so he lived up to his words

you two won so many tickets you literally didn’t even know what to do with them once you got the couple prizes you were interested in

you bumped into a couple fans of his, so you talked for a while

once again, you were met with suggestions of opening your own streaming channel, and even scaramouche said “i’ve told them that many times too, but they always say they think their streams won’t be fun enough”

and the fans are like “NO!! literally everyone thinks you’re super nice and fun!! of course you don’t have to if you don’t want to, but we’d love it!!”

one of the fans (exaggerating a little as a joke) said “i’ll be your number 1 fan i swear” and the three of you laughed, except scaramouche who just scoffed and smirked

“i am ALREADY their number one fan. but good try” <- scaramouche in his head. say it outloud u coward.

but at the same time it was a joke scaramouche chill pretty much everyone knows you’re their number one fan……. even though you think you’re so smooth………. they just don’t say anything

they were very nice and fun to talk to and you knew scaramouche and you didn’t really want anything else from the prizes, so you offered you two’s tickets to them

“we don’t really need these anymore so maybe you’ll have more use for them!!”

they got SO excited, the way their eyes lit up :( scaramouche is convinced you’re an angel but he’s also very happy to see how joyful his fans got because those were more than enough for the prize they really wanted-

so after that cute little interaction and having used up your energy for competition, you two leave and think of buying some ice cream or a milkshake or something to end the date nicely and to enjoy while you walk back home

the arcade was not exactly very close to where you two lived (it was far from your house, but even farther from his-) so he asked if you were okay with walking back or if you two should get an uber or something, to which you said you were okay

walking back with him meant!! a little more time you could spend with him

and he was happy you said that because he was feeling the same way and still didn’t want the day to end

we’ll see more about the kind of things he likes and dislikes if he’s released as a playing character BUT FOR NOW i really get this vibe that he’d LOVE boba tea

i even think he’d?? enjoy tea in general??? classy boy…

SO you two would end up going to get some boba

it was very touching how, when reading the flavors they had that day, he suddenly and casually went “oh, they have your favorite” and you looked at the one he was pointing at and !!! indeed it was your favorite!!!!!!!

he remembers this kind of details very well

you take the chance to talk some more as you’re walking home

scaramouche asks about your job with voice acting and you tell him that you actually have been recording some new lines for your genshin character lately because in the next update there’ll be an event involving them

he’s looking forward to it but he teases you a little asking if it’s okay for you to spoil him with such information

but it’s okay because it’s not like he’d tell anyone, especially knowing it could get you in trouble

when he drops you off at your house, he has a hard time saying goodbye

literally you’re standing at your door and he’s in front of you, a couple steps away, looking away from you

you don’t say goodbye either, mainly because you know scaramouche is working the courage to say something, and you can also sort of guess what he wants to say

you think of saying it first, but then think that it would make scaramouche proud to be honest about his feelings and confess first

“i’ve liked you for a long time”

you can’t help the smile that makes its way onto your face, unconsciously reaching a hand up to slightly cover it

“i feel the same way” you replied to him in a soft voice

he took a deep breath and exhaled it softly, finally lifting up his gaze and making eye contact with you

it was already dark outside, so you couldn’t appreciate the faint rosy blush on his cheeks well

“can i kiss you?”

your eyes widened for a second, not expecting him to ask and if anything, thinking he’d just step forward and do it

so you were a little embarrassed and caught off-guard to reply properly, so you just nodded and put your hand down as he took the last couple steps and his face was right in front of yours

he’d cup your cheek in one of his hands, feeling the warmth of your skin

you closed your eyes, and he looked at you for a second longer before he finally leaned in and closed the short distance that separated your lips

at that moment you both knew that you had been missing on so much more when you two just settled and were content with your friendship

but!! that was about to change now, so it was all worth it

after that, scaramouche would make clear that this would be the first day of your relationship!! and even if he didn’t say it with words, you could just feel his happiness!!

so!! after that, because of work you two got a little busy the next couple months so dates weren’t very frequent

or at least, they weren’t dates like the one you first had

but still whenever you two were free he’d go over to your house, or you’d come over to his to play, stream together, or literally just spend time together doing anything

he wouldn’t let people know you two had started dating straight away (if anything, only his other streamer friends -aka you two’s friends in common- knew)

but the day he said it, he wanted you to be there

SO one day you two were streaming and you were currently reacting to one fanart of you two together

so he looked at you and you made eye contact and it was like you two spoke with your eyes like

“do we tell them now”

“let’s tell them.”

so scaramouche would clear his throat and without closing the fanart, he’d say he has something he wanted to announce

everyone was excited thinking it’d be some new project, maybe involving you

maybe some merch??? and the fanarts had reminded him of it???????

BUT THEN he straightforwardly said

“y/n and i are dating”

and everyone goes aBSOLUTELY CRAZY

amidst the chaos, you two catch a comment saying “will you unban the people who shipped you two” and you laugh

and you look at each other like “did you read that one?” “yeah”

and scaramouche is like “yeah, i guess i will have to unban some people”

and when some get unbanned they’re like “fREEDOM!!!!”

and jokingly they’re all like “APOLOGISE!!!!!!!! SAY SORRY!!!” so he just laughs and you join them being like “!!! apologise!!! you banned them for it and!! look at you now!!”

so he ends up trying to hold in another laugh as he mutters a halfassed ‘sorry’ and everyone starts commenting claps and hearts and celebrating that he apologised. now justice has been made.

the rest of that stream suddenly feels livelier and brighter!! you two are laughing a lot and so is everyone in the chat!!

and also the new genshin event would’ve already just been released that same day so you can talk about some of your experiences with recording or what you thought of it

and scaramouche would let you play it yourself!! (he still hadn’t played it) and it was also the first time you played genshin live!! you’d show people the characters you have and everything and tell them some anecdotes

people would be SHOCKED because you!? don’t have the character you voiced!? D:

and you’re like “yeah… i pulled for them and used up all my primogems and… didn’t get them”

and your banner is back because of the event, so scaramouche won’t let this slide!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL GET YOUR CHARACTER.

your luck is terrible compared to his so at one point you’ll literally feel bad for how much he’s spending for you to get it

but he doesn’t mind at all and everyone is having fun so!!

and once you finally get them you’re sO HAPPY and everyone in the chat is celebrating

and you think it’s over but scaramouche is like ???? what are you doing?? open the wish page again. you’re going to get them c6.

and you’re like oh my gOD PLEASE NO DON’T SPEND MORE MONEY ON ME FOR THIS

but he won’t listen and he’ll do it

so!!! he’ll always do his best to be the best boyfriend he can be for you!! so you better give him your heart!!!!
